my fair lady
attractive women who can be both silly and composed at the same time are something i admire quite a bit.

yet another cheesy post
yesterday's episode of grey's anatomy posed an interesting question: shouldn't love be enough to keep a couple together? idealistically, yes, but realistically, i don't think so. perfect love is when it's completely selfless and about the other person. yet, human depravity says that none of us are perfect but are in fact, full of sin, meaning that it's not about the other person. a lot of times, it's about the self first, then others, second.
i guess the real sad part is if only one person of the couple is about selflessness, the other can take full advantage of the fact and thus, the couple will probably survive.

the social network
just saw the movie and thought it was real interesting. made me want to read the book... but why do i care so much about some kid? feels like i'm just falling into the celebrity garbage gossip trap.
in my latest trip to boston, i had dinner with a good friend of mine who knew some people who knew zuckerberg while at harvard. my friend said he was generally known as a big a-hole, which is funny because that's how the movie described him as well. my friend hadn't even seen the movie yet.

pre-production
i always thought writers controlled the story for tv shows, but apparently there are people who develop plots and characters - and the writers fill in the rest. interesting.
